I've ventured far, far away to the Real World and found it to be an incredibly rewarding (if at times painful or boring) experience.

I've been gone for a calculated eight months or so, and I only come back now because my dad's the only one here (he has his job work, so he can't really spend time with me or take me anywhere - not that there's anywhere to go, but hey) and it's way too cold to go joyriding on my bike.
Here's a few simple but unimaginably important words of wisdom for a vast... minority? of you who are addicted to the internet, dA, and computers in general:
THE INTERNET IS A TOOL, NOT A HOUSE. You heard me right. I should know! It's a miserly existence to make this little box your life. There are no thrills, no opportunities--- nothing. You could argue I'm wrong (which I know you will). But firsthand, I can tell you that, having broken away from the screen and stayed away for a very, very, very long time, the social interactions of the world and the rush one gets from living in it so far outweigh the meager odds and ends of the internet that it becomes a boring and superfluous place to live and becomes, in one's eyes, more of what it was meant to be: a tool for mankind to find information quicker and occasionally keep contact with long-distance people. The former was my favorite, though I still preferred books.
Trust me when I say that I'll be leaving soon and that I just wanted to check in to show ya'll I'm not dead or on the missing persons list, and am ready and eager to get back to my schoolwork. Straight A's and a B isn't bad, but it's just not good enough for second semester. Straight 98-100's sounds like a decent goal. Aye?
Mi amigo mejor, PF, y mis amigos Soli, Manjy y James, y mis
